The MEROPE T3 Camera System is designed to complement the SCI-IN TECH SIT-300 sensor housing
to provide a complete turnkey science-grade instrument.

  • CCD:
    Our Cameras support CCD sensors made by E2V, Imager Labs, Fairchild, Site, Kodak, and others
  • SIT-300 SENSOR HOUSING:
    Housing suitable for vacuum operation or back-filled with dry argon.
    2 inch diameter, 1/8" thick SLAR coated UV grade fused silica window
    Indium sealed window
    Window heater
    Stainless steel front housing
    Single O-ring seal to back plate
    Aluminum back plate
    Fan-forced air cooled heatsink or optional liquid cooled heatsink
    3-stage Peltier cooler
    Internally mounted evacuation valve with elastomeric seal
  • CONTROLLER:
    Timing signals generated by quartz oscillators
    CPLD-based design (no internal software, but electrically reconfigurable)
    Short cable to Camera head
    LVDS communication with interface to PC
    16-bit A/D
  • CABLES:
    Two ultra-flexible 3.6 meter cables from Controller to power supply
    Cables suitable for operation below -25 °C
    Most cable connectors MIL-C-38999 style
  • INTERFACE TO PC:
    CPLD-based design
    Connects to ECP-mode parallel port of PC
    Cable between Controller and Interface can be long
    Short (6 feet typ.) cable to PC
